After completing two solo albums of their own, Emcee Schwartz and HiL of The DysFunktional Family are back for their fourth studio album simply titled, "IV".

After exploring their own personal sounds in their solo albums, HiL and Schwartz return for their fourth album to mix their voices together like you have never heard from them before. Taking inspiration from iconic groups like RUN DMC, and The Beastie Boys, HiL and Schwartz deliver their rhymes in a back and forth style throughout the entirety of the album. For nearly all the songs, there are no "verses" in the traditional sense of emceeing and Hip Hop, and instead the two emcees trade lyrics back and forth throughout each song with precision and ease, giving a sense that they are finishing each other's sentences on each track.

Starting with the first song, Verbal Acrobatics, the pair deliver a gritty and amped-up introduction to their back and forth style, and letting you know without a doubt that The DysFunk Fam are back. Each song relies on the cadence and rhythm of their vocals to present what feels like a time machine back to the old school of emceeing.
